AUSSIE MAX-PLUS® Flip-Out Key Remote Fobs

Switch-Blade style (KES 400) Smart-Key style (KES 424)
The AUSSIE MAX-PLUS keyless entry is available in two different remote fob styles.
The rectangular Switch-Blade style KES 400 set comes with two flip-out key remote fobs, both with keys. It contains three 3v Hearing-Aid type batteries. (The blue LED is an indicator only, not a high powered light).
In the Smart-Key style KES 424 set, one remote has a Flip-Out key, while the other is Key-Less. It contains one small 12v battery. (It's actually very handy having a remote fob without a key. As this remote has less mass, it is less likely to damage when constantly dropped.).
Your original Mercedes key is made from hardened steel, which is supposedly better for the ignition lock barrel than brass, so its better to have your local locksmith dismantle your original Mercedes hardened steel key, and have them re-mount it in the Flip-out remote fob if you choose.
But all remotes come included with a Mercedes key blank, if you need more, your lock-smith has plenty. If they cut Mercedes keys, then they also have the blanks, including w201 & w202 blanks which I can't supply.
Buy the way, not all locksmiths can cut Mercedes keys, as it requires specialized equipment, so you might want to phone around first, and ask for the price while you're at it.!
Mercedes dealers DON'T cut keys. They only sell new ones in accordance to the VIN # of your car.
Replacement remotes are sold in sets of two as pictured.
Each AUSSIE MAX-PLUS system will support up to six remote fobs. Both remote fob styles will work on either system, but are only sold in sets of two as pictured.
(These replacement remotes fobs will not work on previous Aussie Mark III keyless systems)
